Nominee Criteria:
- Must be a Sri Lankan expatriate
- Must be nominated by someone other than themselves or their family members.
- Must further qualify for the award for which one is nominated.
- The nominee must be present to accept the trophy in person.

President’s Award
Handpicked by the president of Sri Lanka Foundation, awardees are Sri Lankan expatriates who have given back to the Sri Lankan community and created positive change.
Rising Star Award
The Rising Star Award is to recognize an emerging leader in higher education whose record reflects ongoing and exceptional growth in contribution to their profession..
Outstanding Achievement Junior Award
The Outstanding Achievement Junior Award is presented to young Sri Lankan expatriates under the age of 18 who have made significant achievements and contributions to their community and are recognized for leadership.
