Visakhians in Southern California (VAASOCAL) organized a friendly cricket match and family picnic on Saturday the October 8th 2016. Visakians, their families and friends gathered at Winnetka Recreation Center from 12pm – 7pm to enjoy this fun filled day. All funds raised from this event went towards Project Hope. Project Hope is VAASOCAL’s helping breast cancer patients in Sri Lanka. VAASOCAL works closely with the Wayamba Cancer Society to give ‘HOPE’ and a fair chance at life for these women and their families.
