President Maithripala Sirisena donated one million rupees to the Kandy Dharmaraja College Scout Group troops who plan to conquer the world’s second highest mountain Karakoram 2 (K2) in Pakistan. This is the first time that a Sri Lankan Scout Group takes part in climbing the world’s second highest mountain ‘K2.’ It will take then 21 days to climb K2.
