Sri Lankan Pride was showcased at the 33rd Festival Y Desfile Centro Americano COFECA 2015 Parade organized by Confederation Centro Americana in Los Angeles on September 13, 2015.
Sri Lanka Foundation was a special invitee to the COFTECA Parade. Sri Lanka Foundation Performing Arts Center created a beautiful float showcasing the rich Sri Lankan heritage complete with a beautiful Devale Doratuwa, magnificent elephant,Sri Lankan traditional costumes, sesath and Sri Lankan flags amidst traditional Sri Lankan folk music. The 2 mile parade route was filled with by standers cheering on the floats. SLF staff, youth from Sri Lanka Foundation Performing Arts center and their parents walked proud representing our beautiful motherland.
