The Sri Lanka Foundation International, USA on May 8th, 2021 met on a zoom meeting with the Sri Lankan global communities from many countries to present the plan of the “Sri Lanka Day Expo & Parade” virtual event.
After the detailed presentations conducted by the SLF staff, the attendees expressed their enthusiasm and encouraging words to the SLF for hosting a very worthy cause continued with a Q & A session.
Many applauded that the SLF was taking a big step to create a virtual platform to host this event with the objective of providing an opportunity for the Sri Lankan
Entrepreneurs to promote their products to a global audience as well as promote the Sri Lankan culture by an extravagant Cultural Program and a Parade. The support of the global community was very evident from the ideas and suggestions that was shared during the meeting.
The SLF staff announced to the attendees that this was just the initial meeting and there will be many sub meetings as the event plan progresses to keep the communities informed and thanked everyone for attending.
