On Sunday, December 1st, 2019 the 88th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade was held along Hollywood Boulevard at 7.30pm. This bright and sparkling event with numerous Colorful festive floats and marching bands lead the parade. The parade also featured various celebrities among the participants.
One of the main sponsors of the event was “The way to Happiness Foundation”, which is an organization that works closely with schools and businesses and governments in raising moral standards, collaborated with the Sri Lanka Foundation Academy of Performing Arts to participate to showcase the Sri Lankan Traditional Performing Arts. A horse carriage float was sponsored by The Way to Happiness Foundation and our students got the opportunity to walk beside the carriage.
This was a great opportunity for the SLF Academy of Performing Arts students to show off their traditional dancing talents and the costumes to the American public.
