The Kandy General Hospital has set up a Kidney Bank in view of the increasing demand for kidney transplants. Specialist Surgeon Harischandra informed that there were nearly fifteen transplants during the past six months. Humanitarians willing to save lives of suffering patients are now able to register at the bank.
