The 70th Independence Day Celebration organised by the Vavuniya District Secretariat was held at the Vavuniya Municipal Council ground under the patronage of Industry and Commerce Minister Rishard Bathiudeen this morning. School children, officials from state institutions and officers of the tri-forces and police personnel participated at the event.
