Special thank you for letting us share your stories and memories on our website and e-newsletter. This has been another successful year at Sri Lanka Foundation. Sri Lanka Day Expo 2018 was an amazing celebration with a record number of performers taking on the streets of Pasadena as we had the largest Parade of Lanka with fourteen beautiful floats. The stage performances were also exquisite as usual. Students of the Sri Lanka Foundation Performing Arts Center was honored to perfrom at many city, state, local and Sri Lankan American events. They also held the first ever workshop for over 500 middle school students at the Model United Nations Conference. Sri Lanka Foundation celebrated 18 exeptional Sri Lankan expatiates from around the world who strive to reach their goals in the quest for brilliance at Sri Lanka Foundation Awards 2018. It was a busy yet very fruitful year.
2019 is going to be a very exciting year and we are priviledged to have the opportunity to share it with all of you. Make sure to mark your calendars. Sri Lanka Day Expo will be in Pasadena on July 20, 2019. The “Parade of Lanka” will once again take over the streets of Pasadena with colorful floats. Sri Lanka Foundation Performing Arts Center is getting closer to be the first ever accredited Sri Lankan Performing Arts Center in the US.
