Inviting an auspicious start to the new year, Sellam Gedara team recently hosted their 12th “Sellam Geadara – Bakmaha Ulela ” just for the youngsters in the Sri Lankan community. The day started with traditional “Awrudu Sirith” and kids were introduced to over 10 traditional games, dances and food throughout the day. Sellam Geadara Awrudu was held at the Orcas Park in Lake View Terrace last Saturday. Youngsters were excited to showcase their competitive spirit and to be part of the vibrant Sri Lankan culture.
