A cricket coaching camp will be held in Matugama to identify talent and provide training to school age cricketers. The coaching camp is organised by C and K Cricket Academy with a number of reputed coaches providing their expertise and will begin at 8.30am on June 12th.
1996 World Cup team member Ravindra Pushpakumara, Sri Lanka Cricket fast bowling academy coach Anusha Samaranayake, former Sri Lanka women’s cricket team coach Jeevantha Kulatunga and present Sri Lanka women’s team coach Lanka de Silva will be at the event providing these youngsters valuable lessons. Veteran cricket commentator Kelum Srimal will conduct a lecture on the importance of playing cricket from a young age.
