Former SLC Selection Committee Chairman Sanath Jayasuriya will be reappointed as the chief selector for SL Cricket next month. Jayasuriya has played 586 international matches for Sri Lanka across all formats, scoring 21,032 runs and taking 440 wickets. Outgoing chief selector and former batting star Aravinda de Silva will be retained as an adviser. These two powerhouses can be provide guidance to the new team and help bold a stronger team. Especially after the retirement of Mahel & Sanga.
