DESCRIPTION:Description: Sri Lanka United (SLU) began in 2011 at the University of California Irvine\, with a Sri Lankan student body of around 20 -30 individuals.  “Sundara Lanka” or “Wonderful Sri Lanka” will be our second biennial culture show in which we display our culture to the University students and members of the Sri Lankan American community. Funds were raised for this show through making Sri Lankan pastries and selling them to students on campus and explaining to them our traditional foods. What sets our show apart from other community shows is that the show is completely run by students and for the students of this University and the younger generations of Sri Lankans.
