The 17-year-old with an identical slinging action, is also lethal with his yorkers. A video of his deadly spell has been going viral on social media where Pathirana proved to be a tough nut to crack for the opposing batsmen and scalped six wickets.
Pathirana has taken Sri Lankan cricket by storm as he snared batsmen with a variety of deliveries in his first game for Trinity College.
