A glitzy red carpet event for Sri Lankan movie buffs Roy De Silva, Sumana Amarasinghe, Keith Ranga, Seruk Indika, Jayam Rutnam, Pushpa De Silva, Andy Samarasena and other cast members took over the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood for the World Premiere of the much awaited the movie premiere of “Tom Pachayo.”
Over 500 Sri Lankan Americans from all over Los Angeles and surrounding areas joined to celebrate and enjoy the fun sinhala movie completely filmed in Los Angeles. The event began with the lighting of the oil lamp followed by an introduction of the movie and messages from various community leaders in Los Angeles. Everyone enjoyed an afternoon at the movies after meeting and greeting with the cast.
The Roy De Silva film film starring Keith Ranga, Sarang Dissasekara, Jagath Chamila, Roy De Silva, Sumana Amarasinghe, Sachin Ayendra and local artists like Seruk Indika, Jayam Rutnam, Pushpa De Silva, Sachi Warnasooriya and Ananda Niyarapola was produced by Keith Ranga & Channa Obeyesekere and Co-Produced by Andy Samarasena.
