As a part of the new government’s “100 Day Program” a Rs. 20,000 allowance will be paid to expectant mothers starting 21st March, 2015 according to Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Rajitha Senaratne. He made is statement while addressing the weekly cabinet briefing held at the Government Information Department.
